A couple of days ago, The Lord gave me something to add to the Post below. Throughout history, to varying degrees, we have engaged in man's plans rather than God's plans. We have reached a point in history that we are either going to join The Lord in His plans or we are going to be on the outside looking in.
Throughout my journey (beginning in August, 2013), I have learned more and more (as Oswald Chambers brings to attention) that the singular focus of Christianity and Discipleship is to be transformed into the likeness of Jesus Christ our Lord. This is the object of Discipleship, and has been the growing focus of my own journey. Our desire is to be completely transformed - the entirety of our being into HIs Likeness.
And then, our aim must be to join Jesus in His plans for the world-his plans for humanity. He desires us to come alongside HIm in what He is doing in the world. To do this, we must put aside our own plans-individually and corporately.
The Lord has made it clear to me that He WILL have a Church of Disciples-walking alongside Him in Discipleship.

Below, I have incorporated a slide show with scanned copies of my Solitude Journal for the past several weeks. The Lord told me to entitle this entry "A New Day: A New Era for The Church." Time permitting, I will attempt to get typed versions posted, but for the sake of expediency, I have posted only scanned copies at this time. As you will see they are completely unedited and reflect EXACTLY what I received from The Lord. I apologize in advance for the handwriting. Please do the best you can to decipher them. I pray that The Spirit helps and gives Revelation of necessary understanding. As you will find, we are at a VERY critical transition. Feel free to contact me directly for any help or questions. I have posted November, 2024 and February, 2025 (through today). December, 2024 and January, 2025 will follow.

This Post has been a very long time coming. I have waited for The Lord to prompt me to share something, and it has finally come. This is a culmination of a very long teaching by Jesus that has been virtually continuous for almost two years.

The beginning of what we have named The 20/20 Vision Mission began in Yellowstone (upon leaving) in 2016. The Lord began teaching me in great detail about His Church in America. This included Her current condition, and the way He sees Her-the way She should see Herself. Today, it came to me that the essence of that desire can be summed up as follows. The Lord desires a people-His Church- that dwells in The Kingdom of Heaven at the feet of Jesus-The King. The Church is to be a people (Disciples) that are under His instruction, and in the deepest possible growing relationship with Jesus.
Whether or not this seems possible, or practical, or even reasonable is of no consequence. This is the Church that The Lord shall have!
I recently viewed a video of a prophetic vision regarding storm clouds which were related to the permeating darkness of the spiritual realm into our physical realm. One of the major manifestations of this is spiritual blindness. In our blindness (within what I now call “churches,”) somehow we have eliminated The Kingdom of the Heavens (ref. Dallas Willard) from The Gospel., which is in fact, the essence of The Gospel. As The Kingdom (ref. R.T. Kendall) is The Realm of The Holy Spirit, it is through this particular blindness that The Holy spirit has been largely eliminated-or at very least minimized-from the operation of the churches (and its people) that we see today! This is especially true personally-in the lives of the very people that call themselves Christians.
It seems that at this point in our history, no matter where we look within this Nation, we find that the churches are operating outside of The Kingdom (in a Gospel Culture-ref. Scot McKnight), but rather operate in a “Salvation (alone) Culture.”
Overall, we have reduced The Gospel-made it shallow. I believe we should all examine what we consider The Gospel to be, and examine our own lives in light of that understanding. Use this as a starting point as Scripture is reviewed. It includes Jesus life, death, resurrection, ascension, and is fulfillment of Scripture validating Him as Son of God and Son of Man. Now, He RULES an invisible Kingdom for His people. He rules them through interactive (communicative) relationship with a plan for the World of which He is LORD of all!
The Gospel is genuinely Transformational rather than the behavior modification and sin management that we typically engage in today.

This Revelation came to me in the night. I believe it should be included with the above writing.
I believe there to be an “elephant in the room” of the church today. Throughout the Church Age, we have really tried to figure out how to get what the Apostles and the Christians in the early Church clearly had and displayed (namely signs, wonders, and miracles). We have spent incalculable time on this. We have come up with Doctrines, Traditions, even whole Denominations based on a particular understanding. We have adapted Theologies to give us explanations. In short, we have gone to great lengths to explain something that we simply don’t understand. Everywhere we look, we see man-made creations to deal with this dilemma.
As I review my own journey, I must admit that this area has consumed a great deal of my time. I also notice that we spend very little time actually discussing the reality of the issue, yet we spend plenty of time offering conjecture. The Apostles clearly had something that today we do not possess! I contend that we really don’t know why, no matter what we offer as explanation. I have adopted Dallas Willard’s belief that in today’s Christianity we confess to believe many things that we don’t truly believe.
Through my own lengthy process with The Lord as my Teacher, I contend that there are two factors.
First, I believe that for reasons we cannot and perhaps are not meant to understand, we find “pockets in time” where The Spirit seems to be more active. I am going to leave this explanation without further clarification.
Second, and this is where I want to bring CHALLENGE, I believe we have substituted many initiatives of man for genuine total SURRENDER. It is the journey and example of Paul (and others, but really outlined in Paul’s letters). The Church that The Lord is raising up will be a Church of Disciples walking in and growing in Surrender. Surrender is the key to true Discipleship!
